Internet subscription cancellation

Hello,As I am moving and leaving the country, I requested a cancelletion. Online support told me that if I will send an official document regarding my departure from country, I might not pay any fee for cancellation. However, your your customer service called me and said this procedure has changed December 2022 and not applicable. I signed my contract 18 August 2022 and this change shouldn’t be applied in my case. Please advise me on this issue. Thank you,Regards

Tango wifi not working

This morning when I woke up my wifi wasn't working, I checked the event logs and since 4 am that it can't connect to IPv4 or the Internet provider and it says there's a PPPoE error and other things. Is this something I can just fix by factory resetting the router? Or do I need to call someone to come have a look at it ?

Information about plan takeover from previous tenant

Hi,I'm about to rent an apartment where the current tenant has a Tango plan for home Internet.They mentioned that I can take over their plan, which allows them to not pay early exit fees, and me to not pay installation fees.I wanted to confirm whether I would “inherit” the tenure of the plan of the current tenant.For example, if they've been with Tango for 15 months, would my plan start at the 15-month mark or would I be considered a brand new customer that has a new 24-month contract with Tango?I looked at this FAQ but it didn't mention anything about tenure: If the tenure is not kept, I don't see much benefit for me as installation fees are offered, but charged back to the customer in case of early exit.Thanks.

CHAP connection issue

Hello,Since 2 days I don't have internet at home.Error chap connection failure. I asked two technicians at tango and each of them gave me different password. Getting desperate....I already configured 2 routers with pppoe before without issues…Please help asap

internet settings disappeared - no internet

Hi Tango.  I lost my internet connection while trying to configure my mesh network and even though I have changed everything back to the original settings there is still no internet.it would be helpful to have the instructions on what settings to use as well as the username/password for my internet account to enter into the router.  Maybe you should consider having a section where a customer can access their account details and setup instructions. I logged in and searched for this but couldn’t find it. If it does exist I would be very grateful if anyone can share how to access it. grateful for any help in fixing this as internet is down for the whole household.

My Internet never reach anywhere close to 100Mbits just like the contract says

Hello,I am Tango Internet VDSL customer with 100Mbits Download speed in contract.Since I used it, from April 12th until today, the speed never reach anywhere 100Mbits.It is always around 20Mbits with various speed test providers, day and night.I called the customer service at the end of April about the problem, the customer service will reach out back to me for technical check, but until now, no news at all and the speed does not change at all.I used LAN Cable from the router, but the speed does not change. Can you please help?Due to my work, now, I need quicker connection, and unfortunately, Fiber does not available for my building.Thank you.Looking forward for your helpBest regards,Rizky​​​​​​

Canceled subscription and still charged!!

Hello! I asked for the cancelation of my subscription with tango since May this year and I received an email that the termination will enter in effect on the 16th of May. Some days ago I got charged from my bank account 34.68 EUR from tango. This is not ok! I want reimbursement!

cannot connect SPF module from FritzBox Fiber router directly to the Fiber wall-outlet

Hello.I have a Fiber router with SFP adapter and I cannot connect it (via SFP module) directly to the Fiber white box on the wall,but it only works with WAN port and Ethernet cable via the black Tango box installed and connected to the Post white fiber outlet.Why ?How can I bypass the black box ?Thanks.

Tango not showing up 2 times for a confirmed instalation appointment

Hi,It happened to me that I waited for tango 2 afternoons, in line with the agreed Fiber installation appointments, for which nobody came. As there is a minimum 7 day period between appointments it’s been 3 weeks since the order. Tango is offering yet a 3rd appointment but for which I have not trust that it will happen. WHAT would you do? Accept 3rd time or cancel the contract?

PPPoE and DHCPv4 issue with Tango Fiber M

Hello, The internet connection has never since I contracted the Fiber M. From the diagnosis I see the following error, can you please let me know what to do? PPPoE error: timeout (5 times) Internet connection failed: reason for: 2 (DHCPv4 no answer on DISCOVER)Thank you.

No Internet connection

Hello,So here’s my problem:I thought I wanted to re-set up my home network from scratch, which was in hindsight not the best idea.So I reset the Fritzbox to factory settings.Thereafter I followed the wizzard and from memory:-Selected Annex A-Selected connection with credentials-selected Luxembourg-selected Tango-selected Fibre After the connection test it says that the connection worksLater at the last step it says that it wasn’t able to check for an update (first hint that there is a problem with the connection.) In the Online tab of the fritzbox it says that I am connected to Tango fibre, I have an external IP and DNS servers.The online monitor tab shows me graphs that there is upstream and downstream. So far so good.If I want to connect with my laptop It say that there is no internet and that action from my side is required.Then a browser window pops up pointing to the url: “http://acs.tango.lu/?ip=xx.xx.xxx.xx&mac=xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx” (note: I replaced the IP and mac with “x”)whi

Fiber speed below 100 Mbps

Hi Tango, I was out on vacation for a week and since I returned yesterday, my Fiber speed is at 90-100 Mbps capped. I am a Fiber 1Gbps customer. Can you advise what changes have been made at your end causing this problem? can you kindly restore speeds to 1Gbps to my account again please? thanks!

Location modem Internet

Hello, can you kindlyREMOVE the “Location modem Internet” as I am not renting a modem from you, and REIMBOURSE me the relevant amount that you are changing me since September? The amount to be reimbursed until the 9th of January is 17,03€.to put it politely, it is at least UNPROFESSIONAL to charge me for a service I am not using.PLEASE DO NOT ADD THE “Location modem Internet” AGAIN.

Internet speed still only +- 85 Mbs in place of the 300 Mbs contracted

Hello Tango,My speed with Tango Fiber M is around 85 Mbs ipo of the contracted 300 Mbs.I called  on Dec 16th 2021 in the morning your help line and have been forwarded to a technician who told me he was checking. In the afternoon on Dec 16th, a technician called me and asked if I could stop by in Bertrange with my modem (Fritzbox 7530)  to have a reset performed.  I stopped by on Dec 17th in the morning and the technician performed some tests and don´t know what else. He finally showed me that the modem was performing around 270, 280 Mbs. Back at home, reinstalling the modem, the same problem showed up with only a speed around ± 85 Mbs. I already have tried powering off and on again after a few minutes the installed ONT and after that th Fritzbox, no changeCould a technician please again check out the connection and configuration of my internet access please.Thank you very much

Internet Speed below 300Mbps on Tango Fibre L

Hello,I signed up for internet with Tango about one month ago. I signed up for Tango Fibre L, which should be giving us up to 1Gbit/s download speed. However, we are getting MUCH slower speed than that. The highest speed I've ever recorded in my testing is 300Mbit/s with an ethernet cable, and 200Mbit/s over wifi. As I'm writing this message right now, I've just recorded 70Mbit/s (it occasionally disconnects altogether, it’s pretty inconsistent).The first time I contacted Tango about this via email, I was asked to run an internet speed test…. despite me sending the exact same message as above including my internet speed test results.I then called Tango, and was told that an engineer would look into it and contact me.After not hearing anything for about a week, I called back today. I was told that they had no problems on their end and were supplying 1Gbit/s. The engineer told me that it was likely a limitation of my computer. Which I think sounds like nonsense. Internet Speed less than 300Mbps

Hello,I have a Tango Fibre M subscription since 2017 which was 100Mbps at the time, but I’ve been informed that the speed should have been upgraded to 300Mbps. I spoke to the customer service today and they confirmed that the speed of my connection has been updated to 300Mbps in July 2021, but my connection speed is much slower than that. Below you may see the result of the speed test based on the wifi bandwidth. I am currently using a FritzBox 7560 and I see similar speeds on both my laptop and mobile phone.
