Unexpected disruptions while watching TV, such as black screens, frozen images or control issues, can be frustrating. This guide will help you solve simple problems to keep your service running smoothly.
Resolve live TV disruptions - Replay or resume failed (error code - P038, P016 or P000)
Step 1: Check that your Internet connection is working (if necessary, unplug your Fritzbox and plug it in again).
Step 2: If you turn on the TV and you get a code like P038, P016 or P000, unplug the decoder. and plug it in again.
Step 3: If the problem persists, contact customer service by calling 800 77 777.
Timeshift function not working
Step 1: First, confirm that Timeshift is available for the channel you are watching. Not all channels support this feature and it will only work during the time you were watching the channel.

Step 2: If you see a message saying that you cannot go back, this means that Timeshift is only available for the part of the program you are currently watching.

Record function is not working
Step 1: Check if the channel in question supports the record function. If it does not, we will inform you of the restrictions imposed by the content provider.
Step 2: If you see the "Record" or "REC" option, but playback fails after recording, contact customer service by calling 800 77 777 and let us know the error code that is shown.
Incomplete recording of programs
Step 1: Live TV programs are only recorded from the moment the record button is pressed. Subsequent recordings scheduled via the TV guide will capture the entire programs.
Step 2: If you cannot record past programs from the guide, this is normal; past programs cannot be recorded, but they may still be available for replay within seven days.

Disappearance of a recording
Step 1: If a recording has disappeared, check to see whether the program is older than 90 days, as recordings are only kept for that amount of time.
Step 2: In the case of recordings less than 90 days old that have disappeared, contact customer service by calling 800 77 777.
Problems accessing a live channel. (Error code P050)
Step 1: Make sure your TV subscription includes the channel you are trying to access. If you see an error code in the TV guide or on your screen, please make a note of it.
Step 2: In the case of error P050, start by unplugging your TV Box and plugging it back in again.
Step 3: If the problem persists, contact customer service by calling 800 77 777.

You get very short duration black screens (every five to eight seconds).
Step 1: Check for interference with the HDMI cable, which may be caused by being too close to a soundbar or other electronic devices.
Step 2: Check that all HDMI connections are secure and, if possible, change the HDMI cable to see if there is any improvement.
Step 3: If the problem persists despite trying different HDMI cables and there not being any interference, contact customer service by calling 800 77 777.
