Some users of mobile phones, particularly Android phones such as Xiaomi, Oppo or Huawei, may experience difficulties connecting to the 4G network, on very rare occasions.

In this case, check your APN settings. In fact, these must be empty for you to be able to benefit from the 4G mobile network in all circumstances.

Find all the explanations below:

→ These settings are usually in your device's mobile data or SIM card menu. The "Proxy" and "Port" fields must be empty.

These settings are generated by default by your mobile phone, but must be deleted to allow the mobile network to work on your device.

Depending on your phone model, the way to configure your APN may vary. Here are a few tips to help you:

  1. Go to your phone settings, then to mobile data settings, network settings or SIM card settings.
  2. Next, click on your SIM card, or on Tango
  3. You should find an "Access point name" or "APN" menu.
  4. Check that the "Proxy" and "Port" fields are empty in the Internet settings.

The correct parameters are as follows

APN name: internet

APN: internet

Proxy Server: (empty)

Proxy Server Port: (empty)

User: (empty)

Password: (empty)

Everything else that might be requested: empty or default settings

For specific models (non-exhaustive list), you'll find pictures detailing the steps to take. If you have an Android mobile and it's not listed below, you can still use these pictures to help you, as the steps are generally the same on devices with the same operating system:

For Xiaomi users:

Go to your device settings and then to the “SIM Cards & mobile networks” menu. Choose Tango and then select "Access point names". In "General", select Tango internet and make sure the "Proxy" and "Port" fields are empty.

For OPPO users :

In your settings, choose "Mobile networks" then "Access point names (APN)", and select your network and then the Internet APNs. Make sure that "Proxy" and "Port" are empty.

For Samsung users:

In your settings, go to the "Connections" menu, select "Access point names" and click on Tango, then in the Internet APN settings. Make sure the "Proxy" and "Port" fields are empty.

Once you've done this, restart your mobile and that's it! Now you can benefit from an optimal network 😀
