Procedure on Android
To activate VoLTE follow these steps:
- Go to Settings
- Select Connections
- Select Mobile networks
- Turn on the "VoLTE Calls SIM1" switch
To activate VoWiFi follow these steps:
- Go to "Phone" then "Keypad"
- Select the 3 dots at the top right
- Select Settings
- Turn on the "Wi-Fi Calling" switch

To activate VoLTE follow these steps:
- Go to Settings

To activate VoWiFi follow these steps:

The best way to do this is to ensure your device is 4G or 5G compatible and that the VoLTE functionality is switched on.
An increasing amount of operators across the world have started to switch off their 3G and 2G networks, like for example the USA.
If you are travelling to a country where this has already happened, it is important to ensure the following:
- Make sure that your device is 4G or 5G compatible.
- To Surf: If no 3G is available, you will need a 4G or 5G phone to browse the internet
- To make calls: If neither 2G or 3G is available you will need a VoLTE capable device to make voice call, please ensure that this functionality is switched on.
Opting for an American SIM card will not resolve this issue, as it pertains to the phone itself rather than the service plan.
