Are you having problems with your landline? Then see our advice below:

1. If your phone no longer works on a very high speed connection (VDSL or Optical Fiber)

  • Reboot your FRITZ!Box
  • Make sure your phone is connected to your FRITZ!Box on port FON1 or FON2
  • Test with another phone by plugging it into the FON1 or FON2 port

If your landline is connected to a FON port different from the one present in your FRITZ!Box, reconnect the line to the correct port and carry out a test.

2. Your phone no longer works on an ADSL connection

  • Check that, on each telephone socket, you have installed an ADSL filter supplied with your modem. Without a filter, the line may be distorted or even non-existent.

3. Poor call quality

  • Check the environment around your box (certain objects can disrupt the quality of your FRITZ!Box, such as your telephone).
  • Reboot your FRITZ!Box
  • Change your landline phone
